The economy and business transaction between China and a foreign country can be viewed as cross-cultural activities in nature. The removal of language barriers that hinders business communication will be greatly beneficial for one’s commercial success. Therefore, it is advisable for foreigners to study business Chinese. Our business Chinese course includes the following contents: 

 

1. Essential polite expressions for social occasions of reception, greeting, introduction, apology and congratulation.

2. Essential expressions for business occasions of shopping, traveling, telephoning, emailing and appointing making.

3. Appropriate expressions for commercial information communication such as giving a brief account of a company or product, enquiring or giving a quotation, collecting feedback, making statement, etc.

4. Appropriate expressions for business negotiation such as bargaining, devising a plan, discussing a way to cooperate, analyzing problems and resolving disputes, etc. 

 

Chinese for school students

 

The series of Business Chinese textbooks used in our school give learners a systematic training for mastering the essential business language skills at four levels as mentioned above. Upon the completion of the whole course learners will be able to acquire these four levels of business language skills, while mastering Chinese pronunciation, elementary grammar, over 200 frequently-used spoken Chinese sentence patterns, as well as about 1200 expressions and over 500 characters.

Through various kinds of vivid classroom activities teachers will teach students more knowledge of business Chinese as well as the skills to make business with Chinese.
